With over 55 years of combined clinical experience, all of our therapists are equipped, fully qualified and registered with state regulatory bodies.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, I have gained extensive experience in both the public and private sectors; working acute rehabilitation in addition to community-based rehabilitation. I have spent many years working in the mining sector specialising in the development of policies, procedures, risk assessments and workplace rehabilitation.
In 2008 we relocated to Perth. OTGRS came to fruition in 2009 providing our patients with a flexible and affordable service enabling them to maintain independence whilst giving me (initially) the flexibility to work and spend time with my children. Thankfully our service has been embraced with many satisfied patients!
As our kids have gotten older I have become more and more involved in the community and the local sporting competitions. In addition to my skills as a physiotherapist/exercise physiologist, my experience as a high-level athlete has resulted in me immersing myself into the community, working with upcoming athletes and seeing them not only rehabilitate but also understand how to prevent injuries in the future. When I am not working or playing sport my kids and I take advantage of what WA has to offer – camping, water-skiing, paddle-boarding… the list goes on.
