What should I expect during my treatment sessions?

On The Go Rehabilitation Services provides a professional, trustworthy and friendly service. At the beginning of treatment your Physiotherapist will compile a full history and complete a thorough assessment. They will then discuss their findings and will develop a treatment/rehabilitation plan tailored to your needs.

Your treatment will commence immediately and the number of treatment sessions required will depend on the severity of the condition. If you are experiencing financial difficulties then the physiotherapist will work within these boundaries.

Your physiotherapist will use a variety of treatment modalities including joint mobilisation, massage, exercise and/or electrotherapy (TEN’s, Ultrasound).

Do I need a referral from a Doctor?

If you are a private patient you will not need a referral. However, if you are on worker’s compensation, have a motor vehicle claim or on veteran’s affairs (DVA), you will require a referral. Speak to one of our staff for more information.

Will my private health insurance cover physiotherapy?

This depends on your level of cover and extras. Contact your health insurer for more information.
